The Hard Place....

I know you have been there. Between the rock and the hard place. I am in such situation as we speak. I find it hard to believe that someone as lazy as I am to find myself in this type of situation. I am walking on eggshells every moment of everyday. Normally I would tell everyone to take a flying leap, or at the very least tell them where the bear shits. For some reason I just can't do it this time around. Insanity would almost be a welcome relief at this point.
   Like so many times before, I would LOVE TOURETTES SYNDROME!!! Yeah I'm sick and I must not know what I am saying. But of all the whacked out diseases out there, that is the one I want. My gorgeous wife has done research on the disease for school, not making either of us pros in the field but the ability to spit, slap, swear and twitch without control is AWESOME!! It's like who gives a crap what you say, it's not you it's the disease. You cannot control what happens it just does!

Merry New Year from the Party Pooper!

    I am not one who loves to celebrate mediocrity, but it seems the world loves any excuse to throw a bash. In this case I speak of New Years Eve. Yup, I hate this "Holiday." It is the epitome of mediocrity!! My wife has a hard time with me not liking said holiday, but here is the reasoning that I have for my feelings. First and foremost, who the hell wants to start anything over? sure as the sun rises it ain't me. Second with all the crap that happened last year why have a holiday that celebrates the fact that you get to do it all over again. Seriously everyone that I know that has made a new years "resolution" forgot or was to lazy to see it through. If you have to wait 365 days to fix anything, I am afraid you are so into it that you won't change regardless.
   The other suggestion put to me was that it was a great time to reflect upon the good from the year before. Sorry don't need a piss poor holiday for that. I understand that this holiday is inevitable and just because I don't like it doesn't mean it ain't comin' around again I just think the idea is ludicrous.
   I guess there is one good thing that comes out of this "holiday" and that is we are one year closer...............

As the World turns.......

   I must tell you that I am into History, science, and Theology. My children and their cousins were at the house speaking of science and their projects due over the Christmas break... Yeah I said Christmas.... When the talk of where electricity comes from. after much ado the children walked away with more knowledge than their worthless text books will ever give.... Yeah I said that too..... When geology came into the picture. they asked how fossils could be found on top of a mountain. Now to let you know I am a Creationist.... Yup you guessed it..... so we went to the book of Genesis. The flood, Noah, the whole works. As we finished the kids realized that even A Creationist believes in science. Out of the mouth of babes come wisdom, (sometimes).
now the big issue is...Why does big government have to be in everything we do? What has happened to our bill of rights? I know my rights and they do NOT say anything about this government, or any for that matter messing with my life! Folks I am NOT just talking about this administration in the White House today. Even those that have come before and claimed conservatism were NOT. How many of you have ACTUALLY READ the Bill of Rights? Do you really know what they say? of course not. Quite a few of you would rather sit back and have the government control every aspect of your life so you can sip your Machiato and surf your favorite sites in peace. This world has enough apathetics! look to the Nations that have to fight for the right to live! Look at those in Burma, South Korea and so on. Yet you say, "what a shame, good thing our country isn't like that." OH YEAH!!! you wait, your apathy will be your downfall and you won't even know it's happening until it is WAY to late. Here is some food for thought, and maybe a little EDJUMAKATION for you. P.S. there will be commentary after.

Amendment I

Amendment VI

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.

Amendment VII

In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise reexamined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

Amendment VIII

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Amendment IX

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

Amendment X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

   So Where does it say my child cannot pray in school, even with his class? Where does it say that because I am a law abiding citizen, that I may not own a rifle or handgun for any reason? where does it state that there should be a withdraw of "religion" from the state? I will not say separation of the church and state. IT DOES NOT EXIST IN THE CONSTITUTION!! people READ and be knowledgeable of what "career" politicians are doing to your FREEDOMS!! I PRAY YOU STAND AND RECOGNIZE THE CHAOS AROUND YOU! FIGHT BACK! CLAIM WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY OURS.....THIS REPUBLIC OF THE UNITED STATES, BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE! nuff said.

These are the days

   Now just to let you know, I have a profound respect for Native American people. Their way of life before the White Man showed up on the scene fascinates me to no end. I truly feel what the White Man has done to their culture is nothing short of barbaric rape and pillage. With that said yes I am white, though I do have many friends from many walks of life.
   I also have family that have Downs syndrome and have spent time with people that have the genetic disorder. I had a friend that worked for a local business whose main goal it was to assist those with Downs Syndrome lead a normal life. She would transport them to and from their place of employment, plus take them to the movies, bowling, etc, in which I would go with her on occasion, (and having a blast!!!). So I do not see them as "retards" they are quite a special group of people that our society can learn alot from.
   With that said now on to the show!!!
I was in a convenient store in said Page, AZ training a co-worker on the ins and outs of our new handheld computer system, when a woman started laughing with one of those ridiculous horse laughs. Not to mention there were quite a few Navajo people in the store. As I monitored my co-workers progression, turned to him and said,
"This town sure has alot of Navajo and retards in it." retards due to the woman laughing like a horse at something totally stupid. Our adventure, within the minute, led us to the front door to which my eyes landed upon a man that brought both facets of my comment to bear. A YOUNG NAVAJO MAN WITH DOWNS SYNDROME WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR!! IRONY IS AMAZING!!! We moved out of the store back to our truck when my co-worker smiled at me and called me one of the biggest assholes he had ever met. I must agree......
